Episode Synopsis

After a kick-ass performance at ChiTown Chugs the crew it’s invited to an underground gig at The Midnight Theater, a supernatural hot spot where Werewolves, Vampires, Changelings, and more gather to escape the World of Darkness. There they’ll face An Fear in a battle of the bands to decide their fate!

Full Summary

Fitz informs the troupe that they did a great job at the Jazz gig last night, and that one of his contacts, Leon Valentinelli, saw a video of their performance and has booked them for later that night. Leon is the owner of The Midnight Theater, a swanky goth bar/music venue located on Lower Wacker.

The troupe arrive early to the get a lay of the land. As they talk up the crowd Traci, Locke, and Cliff quickly realize that everything is not as it seems, and the Midnight Theatre is some type of Supernatural Den. Here all manner of civilized supernatural creatures imbibe and make merry, and the only law is music!

The team splits up to briefly to enjoy the festivities and gather more information. Locke heads to the VIP longue to do coke with Vetiver. Cliff has a chance to speak with Reed, as they reminisce about the good ol’ days. Traci attempts to socialize with other patrons and prove that she’s a rockstar, and Jack continues to hone his sound up until the very last moment. Meanwhile, Fitz is doing cocaine with Leon in the Gold Room.

As time draws near Chemical Exit and An Fear approach their stages. Looking over the crowd Jack know exactly what they want to here. He signals his teammates and the battle of the bands is underway. As the first round ends it’s clear that it’s going to be a close. For the moment Jack and Chemical Exit have the crowd, but An Fear continues to hang in there with there supernatural stamina. The gap continues to narrow into the second round. Scutch, An Fears resident werewolf, unleashes his Crinos form, but it’s still not enough to keep up with the remaining performers. Finally, as the last chord is strummed Chemical Exit emerges victorious.

The team reaches out a hand to An Fear and they celebrate the night away together. Their hard-fought battle bringing a sense of comradery. Locke hooks up with Vetiver, Traci hooks up with Reed, and Jack hooks up with Jenna… who you’ll definitely never see again.

Epilogue

Oran visits each member of Chemical Exit the following morning to drop of their new Crouton credit cards, and tell them about their joint checking account.
